Fan works! This small fan is working powered directly by a 5w solar panel, but I will upgrade the fan to a more powerful model (and will run off battery for faster performance... a 10w solar panel would work better as well)

Solar Cooling: Small solar panel for fountain pump, and 5w panel currently running the fan (lower-powered fan only... bigger fan needs bigger than a 5w panel)

Two upgraded fans: I upgraded from the ultra-silent CoolerMaster fans to these Scythe Kaze Ultra 3,000rpm fans. HUGE increase in fan output! Needs more power, though... I will run from a 12v deep cycle marine battery, unless I get a solar panel that will reliably output 1.2 amps.

Finished bucket cooler, just needs air ducts to route cool air into structure!

VIDEO: Just a short clip showing the relative sound level of the two Scythe Kaze fans. Tolerable, but you probably won't want it inside the structure with you. Fortunately these are designed to sit outside and blow cool moist air to the interior.
